The State of Maryland has confirmed its first case in the Howard prefecture resident, which recently traveled internationally.
The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) announced the positive case in a news broadcast on Sunday. It was also confirmed by the Virginia Department of Health and Howard County Health officials.
This case is not associated with the explosions in Texas or New Mexico, confirmed the Ministry of Health.

Officials hope to identify people who may have been exposed during a trip in the following specific times and places.

The MDH has encouraged residents to control these exhibition times, monitor any growing symptoms and update vaccines.
Early cunning symptoms include fever over 101, cunning nose, cough and red, water eyes, according to health officials.

Symptoms of tricks can develop from seven to 21 days after exposure, but usually appear within 10 to 14 days, added the MDH.

A person is contagious starting four days before the eruption appears and up to four days later.

“There is a 90% chance that you will get it if you are unvaccinated and enter a room where someone with a trick was two hours earlier,” he warned.
The best way to prevent trick is to get the two-dose, the vaccine, Mumps and Rubeolo (MMR), according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and various experts.

The Maryland Department of Health states that pregnant women, babies less than 1 -year -old and people who are immuno -compromised have the highest risk of complications of trick.

“People, especially those not vaccinated or otherwise resistant to the trick, who were at any of these places during the potential exhibition times must monitor themselves for some early symptoms of trick for 21 days after the potential exhibition,” the department noted.

“People who develop fever or other symptoms of trick do not have to go to child care, school, work or out in public, and have to contact their doctor. They must first call their healthcare instead of displaying in the waiting room or emergency room so that the office can take measures to prevent spreading to other patients.”

The cases of measure occurred sporadically in Maryland, the department confirmed, including one case in 2024, one in 2023 and none of 2020 to 2022.
Nearly 200 average cases were confirmed in Texas on Friday, mainly affecting unvaccinated, school children.
