The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are in the process of launching a large study of potential links between autism and vaccines, sources known told to Reuters.
The study was not confirmed, and it is not clear how the study will be carried out, the exit reported.

A spokesman for Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) told Fox News Digital, “the American people are waiting for high quality research and transparency and this delivers CDC.”

“As President Trump said in his common address to Congress, the rate of autism in US children has grown. CDC will leave no stone untouched in his mission to ascertain what exactly happens,” said the HHS spokesman.
The CDC acknowledges that there is parental care for possible relationships between autism and vaccines.
“So far the studies continue to show that vaccines are not associated with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). CDC knows that some parents and others still have concerns,” reads the agency’s website.

Dr. Nicole Saphier, a medical contributor to Fox News, told Fox News Digital that the decision to launch research in a possible league is “a remarkable change, probably caused by continued public debate and pressure for transparency.”

“Historically, the agency maintained that no such relationship exists, citing robust, but outdated studies,” she said.
“This move could signal an effort to deal with constant skepticism, though it must rule controversy.”

“The result is based on the design of the study – rigorous, impartial and transparent methodology will be key to solving the science, one way or another. Whether the results will swing the preset opinion of anyone, however, is the greatest unknown,” Saphier added.
