As the health of Americans a sharper focus with the Make America Healthe Again (Maha) movement, women’s health needs to be a priority, says one expert.
Functional medical supplier Dr. Austin Lake Tulsa, Oklahoma, specializes in treating women with hormonal imbalances, autoimmune conditions and chronic diseases.
In an interview with cameras with Fox News Digital, Lake said that before the Maha movement, he met with many “frustrated” women who suffered chronic health problems, as well as mothers and grandmothers who took care of their children’s health. (See the video at the top of this article.)
All to know about maha
“When RFK came on the scene … and started giving it a title, making America healthy again just understood,” he said.
“There are many statistics and evidence that indicate that there is a huge need for such a movement, because our people are struggling,” added a lake.

For women in particular, Lake highlighted some key things that the Maha movement is likely to handle.
Pesticide exposure
Exposure to glyphosate, herbicide, which is often sprinkled on crops such as pesticide, could block the body’s ability to combat cancer, along a lake.
“Not only does it strip minerals and key foods from our food, but also removes key healing components that would prevent something like cancer,” he noted.

“One of the chemotherapy drugs they use to combat cancer is in our food, but it is blocked by glyphosate.”
The doctor suggested that local farmers protect their crops in a manner safer for consumers.
Fluoride in water
While cancer affects both men and women, fluoride in US water sources could have a more severe impact on women’s health, the lake suggested.
In the midst of an ongoing debate on the pros and opposites of fluoride, new research has shown that ingesting the chemical can lead to lower IQs in children and can be harmful to thyroid, which is a common thing among women.

“(Fluoride) reduces iodine in the human body because it competes for absorption, so now suddenly you have more of these thyroid problems,” the doctor said.
While thyroid medication is one of the most prescribed drugs in the world for women, Lake noted, “It doesn’t actually solve the problem.”

“But if you look at things like fluoride and the lack of minerals in our food, and then you start putting it together with bad air quality, high stress, a lot of workload and family life and inability to make ends … it becomes quite big, remarkable Problem, “he said.
Weakness and breeding things
With high stress levels among US women, Lake predicted that there will be a “continuation of openness” without greater efforts to protect women’s health.
The US centers for disease control and prevention (CDC) reported that the birth rate in the United States has dropped to a historic low, decreasing by 3% since 2022.
One major concern among women is severe symptoms of pre -syndrome (PMS), noticed a lake.

“We normalized severe PMS,” he said. “I think many women have calculated (that it is) quite common – to have a menstrual bracket just in front of a cycle or having a debilitating pain or the inability to feel animated leading to a cycle … but that’s not normal things.”

The health conditions of many women can be linked to live factors, including inflammatory foods and chronic stress, said Lake.
Some shortcomings can “directly influence a woman’s fertile window and how she feels before it and her ability to make life,” he noticed.

More American women are also diagnosed with a polychist ovarian syndrome (PCOS), which causes various symptoms such as irregular periods, weight growth and difficulty becoming or remaining pregnant.
Lake said an imbalance in hormonal roads can increase PCOS risk. “For most women with PCOS, the underlying root cause is insulin resistance, which means that your body is unable to manage properly energy.”

PCOS is also linked to chronic inflammation, according to Johns Hopkins Medicine, which can then worsen insulin resistance.
Foods, environmental factors, sleep, high stress and deficiencies can lead to oxide stress and inflammation, noticed lake – leading to “Inability to detox properly, so that your body does not remove these things.”
“It is my belief that God has created our bodies to heal. As he says, ‘Our bodies are timidly and wonderfully made.’
“(Women) are exposed to the same food and environmental challenges that are men, but they have these added items, specifically with their adrenal glands, which then affect their outcome of things like progesterone,” he said – what is “very” very Important for a hormonal balance.
Sick food choices
Better food choices for Americans should start in schools and hospitals, Lake suggested where decisions can be made to stop serving what is cheaper and starting to serve what is best for young children, old people and those with diseases.

“There is no question that it is worth investing in good, healthy food, but many people have just sold the lie, that food does not have a great impact on your health and that there must be some genetic item on why they ‘fighting,” he told Fox News Digital.
“We need to start bringing more awareness of this and make sure that people show that their actions have consequences – and that their good choices also have positive consequences.”

People need to know that their bodies have the ability to heal themselves, emphasized a lake.
“If you feel desperate, your ability to try to make these small changes are going to decline,” he said.

Finally, Lake said, leading healthier ways of life becomes easier with the support of the government and corporations, which “actually make good products.”
