NGMedical announces Australian TGA approval for Move®-C cervical discs – Ortho-Spine News

On March 19, 2025, Ngmedical GmbH, a medical device manufacturer focused on creating innovative technologies for spinal applications in Surbrand, Germany, announced its approval of Move®-C artificial disk protesis for sale in Australia by TGA.

We are excited to announce TGA approval for our groundbreaking cervical disc arthroplasty product, featuring unique, distinct viscoelastic properties. This is an important milestone in our mission to revolutionize Australia’s spinal cord care. This achievement follows over three years of dedicated research, collaboration and commitment from an outstanding team.

Thanks to Australia’s distributor Matrix Medical Innovations, we would like to thank our skilled team for great support and this exciting outcome.

Australia is a very important market for preserving cervical spine movement. Move®-C offers Australian surgeons the most advanced treatment options with its clear viscoelastic concept. Ngmedical continues to expand internationally. Sales of Move®-C are expected to double the next year.

The CEO of Ngmedical said, “We are proud of the further key steps for Move®-C to gain broad approval over the past two years.

Sarah Boulous, CEO of Matrix Medical Innovations, said: “Our partnership with NGMedical allows us to introduce world-class cervical disc arthroplasty products to the market while continuing to innovate and expand our products for comprehensive patient outcomes.”

Matrix Medical Innovations and Ngmedical remain committed to setting new standards for spinal care and look forward to successful collaborations that benefit both Australian healthcare providers and patients.

Ngmedical is actively working towards further international recognition and plans to significantly expand its international presence in 2025.
