A Crewe mum who’s life was ‘modified without end’ after a shock injury is making ready to dive with sharks – elevating funds for a spinal charity.

The married Crewe mum got here dwelling in November 2021 however suffered life-changing accidents – needing a wheelchair and being classed as paraplegic.

In October 2022, Mrs Brookes carried out the Heaton Park 5k to lift funds for the Spinal Accidents Affiliation (SIA).
She is now making ready to dive with sharks at Blue Planet Aquarium, Ellesmere Port, on Thursday 2 March and Friday 3 March.
The Crewe mum will probably be elevating additional funds for the spinal charity.
Mrs Brookes advised Nub Information: “I gained a spinal cord injury in August 2021 and spent 4 months in Hospital (particular rehabilitation in southport).
“I got here dwelling in November 2021. I can now use crutches however want a wheelchair and I’m classed as paraplegic.

Mrs Brookes stated: “I really feel grateful to the staff of physios and workers at Southport Rehab who have gotten me to the place I’m at the moment.
“Nothing is assured. Tomorrow I’ll not be capable to use my legs so I attempt to keep constructive.
